I've been carrying a 14000 mah UNU Enerpak Extreme for quite a while now. Has dual ports and can charge a phone and a tablet at the same time. It'll do my Nexus about 4 times before needing topped up. May have to consider a USB 3.1 pack one of these days.

I carry a 16000 mah Archer Gen 2 dual charging ports. Quick charge capability for the Samsung Galaxy smartphone. I get about 5 full charges if I'm using it myself.

Out Scouting I like to take a back up so I have these two. Both charge solar and USB, and it doesn't have to be a bright sunny day, which is handy here in the UK.

The larger one only cost £9.99 and it's a 2200mAh. Having the solar I can use once to charge and leave to charge again. Bargain buy !

Charging lead wise I use the two pictured which came from a £1 shop.

I carry a spare battery, it's the smallest backup solution and with my Nokia we're talking about a week plus life out of two batteries.

    Some of my back ups...

This little one will charge my phone 1-1/2 times.

The goal zero sherpa 50 is good for almost half a dozen phone charges.

Bust out the spare battery for those days when you ain't got time to be re-charging.

This can start my jeep in the dead of winter after leaving the lights on all night. Recharging a cell phone should be child's play for the xp-1.

I don't recall the xp-1 being so swollen in the mid section the last time i used it, what's up with that?

Currently on a quest to find a battery operated charger.

Also looking into a gas or diesel powered generator but for today will be content with what i got...

I've gotten super lazy with this. My blackberry (android) puts up with my abuse just fine. So, I have an old Anker 10 AH charger that I keep in a GHB, but mostly I just charge it in my car and at night. And it works.

    Oldie but a goodie...
This Peak PowerStation 750 was slated for the scrapheap because its own recharging system failed. But at the last minute my dedicated tire pump failed beyond repair. So with nothing to lose, i surgically opened the back of the peak unit for a look see. I was able to solder a an old expansion cord to the peaks internal terminals and recharge the unit. Even though the repair probably voided the warranty, the unit has been good as new ever since.
