Figured it was time to update my first Aid kit. I'm missing a couple of items like a Swat T, RAT T or a CAT T, QuickClot, hand sanitizer. All in all not a bad kit for my first aid needs and for a Trauma Kit. Any suggestions to build this up would be great. I am trained on most first aid to include some major trauma injuries.
I know i am missing some stuff so suggestions are welcome.

    First main compartment,
    1. Back pocket: 3-5x9 Absorption pads
    2. Front pocket: 2- 4x4 sterile non woven gauze pads 4ply and a black sharpie.
    3. Finger nail clippers, triple antibiotic cream, superglue, EMT sheers
    4. I just added some stop-bleed 2 20g packs.

    Next section
    1. O.D. Green Triangle Bandana
    2. 2- u.s. army feild dressing (sealed)
    3. Rubber gloves 2 pair
    4. Certian meds for myself

    Mesh Zipper Compartment
    1. 2 rolls of 3" wide gauze
    2 1 W.P. bag of assorted bandages
    3. 1 roll of medical tape
    4. Assorted meds, safety pins, tweezers.

Nice setup you got there. I have one like it but without the mesh zipper compartment and it's doesn't look as well put together like yours

I've got a swat t coming in tomorrow and waiting for this local store to bring in the Israeli Bandage so i can pick up 2 of them. Plus i found at the local Wal-Mart this stuff called stop-bleeding. I figured for 4 bucks next time I cut myself I'll see if it really works. If anyone has any info or experience with it i would like to here about it. [IMG][IMG]

Thanks the one thing i do not play round with is first aid. With all the damn crime and stuff going on out here i want to be able to handle just about any situation. I thougjt about going with the smaller one after seeing what i carry the larger one was tje better choice.

i carry the small one (the lite) in my edc bag. and when i go to the range, i take it out and put it in my range bag (i carry my edc bag with me, but i leave it in the truck while i'm shooting). but i'd like to get another lite and attach it to my range bag. that bag has molle/pals webbing so it'd be easy to attach the pouch to it.

At first thought it would be to bulky on the side of my pack but after carrying it for a week or so it does not bother me at all. I use to carry everything in a home depot husky zipper pouch but i was limited to what i could put in there. For 21 bucks on Amazon i couldn't pass it up.

yeah i have a full-sized one that's attached to my ghb. the smaller one is more for major trauma. i carry a firearm so i need something to stop blood loss. i do keep a few smaller things in there (finger bandages, ointments/creams, etc.), but most of the stuff in it is for stopping the flow of blood from a major wound. but i want to make another one to attach to my range bag so i don't have to move it back and forth when i go to the range.

I carry daily also, and that's why i decided to just build a Trauma and First Kit all in one. I made my Moab 10 my range bag, so all I have to do is attach it to that and I'm off. But I travel a lot down near the boarder and so I do not take any chances. I've already been shot at a couple times down in some boarder towns. My company truck has 3 bullet holes in the tailgate from a small caliber.
