Google "master link". They are available in numerous places.

    Not really surprisingly?
It is smaller and much lighter than Keybar and just better working than Keysmart for me!

I will post pics of them together later

I'm looking into one of those key organizers some of you are using. Mine included a CPR mask as well. I use a quick disconnect for the key fobs. I just bring the one for the vehicle I'm using.

I've been trying to put more on a keychain. I looked into the pickpockets but not that familiar with them that master link is brilliant IMO in going to have to pick one up and play with it. Right now I'm using the TEC UFO I picked up 2 of them and they work pretty good for me I've primarily been more of a Bushcrafter thru the years but in trying to switch over to smaller gear mostly because I'm old and need a lighter load a lot of folks here got some really nice gear setups I enjoy checking out the different ideas hopefully I won't be to aggravating with all my questions!

Curious will these work with coated keys(not ones with the fob built in) just normal ford/Chevy keys

Maybe we have to ask @Ben Rubinstein about that? IIRC he has coated keys in his keysmart.

    Hi @Frankenstein

I have thick keys in my Keysmart. By using the spacers, often quite a lot of them, and adding posts, it can be done.

Here is a flat on picture to show how I'm doing it. It does of course depend on whether the posts will go through your key if it only has a very narrow opening (though you can drill it open if you're up for it). One thing I did with one of my keys was to take it to the keycutter and ask him for a regular flat style key (without the coating) which could be cut the same way. That bottom key started out being a thick chubby key for a padlock. Now it's flat and fits in easily.

To be frank when hopefully I buy a car soon, I'm not going to put the key in my keysmart. It's too much weight and bulk hanging off a thin piece of metal.
