I'm still using the Vertx Transit Sling. I'm loving it. It's a great size, keeps me from over packing. With that said, I am ridiculously overpacked.

I've been really digging the Vertx Gamut Plus.

Well i went back to the maxpedition kodiak gearslinger and realized why i stopped using it. Gave it to my daughter to see how she likes it, so far so good. Didnt like the shoulder strap so i went back to my Rush 24 for now. Lookimg at new EDC bags for Christmas.

I am looking pretty hard at the Cannae Pro daypack,I like the way it opens from the top somewhat in case you don't really need to rip it all the way open to get inside.

This is the basic way the Gamut opens too but then it is so tight in there it is not too useful but this Cannae looks like a whole lot more function from that one feature to me.

I am also looking hard at the Mil,HAWG again!

Nice looking pack. There are so many out there to choose from and not having them here locally sucks because you can not actually try it on to see how the fit is.

Osprey Quasar 28 in black, which serves as both a work and EDC bag (I just take out the laptop!). I'm very happy with it - comfy, hard-wearing (by my standards), capacious, and excellent organisation.

I recently got a MilTac HAWG and it is pretty darn sweet!
A lot of thought clearly went into this bags design and it much more comprehensive than it seems at first look.

I was torn between this and a Rush 12 and Cannae Pro.

    Highly recommended.

    I have a RUSH 12, which I like, although it's a bit heavy.
Saw the Cannae Pro yesterday in the new issue of RECOIL - it's definitely now in the running.

Just ordered a Cannae Legion. Haven't seen a bad review of it yet.

I ordered one of the First Tactical Tactix packs as they had a 50% off sale this weekend!

    I just couldn't resist.

This bag holds just a ridiculous amount of stuff!

No wonder I can barely carry it?

And the main compartment is basically empty too!

I still get another Macbook,2 changes of clothes, toiletry kit,Travel Tray loaded and an electric shaver and charger in the main hole!

It is tough to give this thing enough credit but I am loaded for being on the road and this Camelbak gives me more and better organization than any other bag I have seen or tried,I keep looking for anything better but so far........

The only thing I don't carry in it is Water?
    Funny how that works.

Had to get a new bag for work stuff. Went to Walmart and got this Outdoor Products Quest daypack. They didn't have the SOG Ninja in stock. I like the exterior pockets and the water-bottle holder, but no Velcro panels.[IMG][IMG]

my wife has a larger one because she wanted a bag for her laptop...its not a bad bag but it has more pockets than a mutant kangaroo...too busy for my taste..in case you didn't know the sog bag at walmart is just an off brand who is licensing the name...sog actually has 6 new bags on their website...the slanted top lid reminds me of a smart alec from tob bihn...http://www.sogknives.com/tactical/packs.html
