Great i do have 1 major question, is there a ccw compartment in that bag. I went back to the R24 for the fall and winter months and it's big enough for my needs, it just doesn't have that ccw compartment in it. I put in some Velcro on the inside of the bag to accommodate a holster and going to put a square piece in the hydration compartment. Just looking for something different. I like the layout of dragon egg, just worried it might not fit all my gear.

No there is no dedicated ccw pocket but you could use the laptop sleeve/pocket for it

The back plate is stiff so it may suite your needs.

IMG_5046.JPG IMG_5045.JPG Update on the 3V Velox. I love the organization of this bag. Fully loaded, this bag is light. I removed the waist strap, and am thinking of removing the sternum strap.

So I am currently using a Vertx Gamut. It has been an amazing pack. Organization is excellent.

I went ahead and picked up the DA Dragon Egg and so far I'm loving this pack. A little smaller than my R24 but it made me get rid of some items that i was not using. The color of the photos show it as a coyote brown but it is actually O.D Green.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

It is. The admin layout is amazing and there is still more room at the bottom of the compartment. I woll say this, the bag itself is a little heavier than a R24 for it's size. But it still feels pretty good.

I may have finally found the perfect bag (for me).
    Tru-Spec Stealth pack in gray.

Complete gray man look - no external molle or velcro areas.
BUT - internal laser cut molle in a velcro panel.

    Padded air mesh back panel
Padded air mesh adjustable shoulder straps with sternum strap
Concealed padded zipper pocket built into kidney pad
Reinforced and padded grab and go carry handle
Padded side zippered electronics pocket with headphone pass through channel
    Fleece lined top zipper pouch
Hidden CCW area with velcro for attaching holders/mag holders
Two side zippered storage pockets with external mesh pouch
Front zippered pouch with office/organizer panel and external zippered pouch
Large main compartment with padded bottom containing a padded tablet sleeve, Office/organizer panel
Laptop sleeve that holds up to a 15" laptop
Concealed pass through opening for earphones or hydration tube

I had a $10 dollar gift card so used it to pay for shipping on a free bag from the guy who runs the CIA Spy Escape classes. Decent enough bag for EDC plenty of pockets and storage, though it doesn't feel like it would hold up to heavy use. I could be wrong I'm not an expert on bags, just going on overall look and feel. But theres no real information on materials or manufacture, so theres that. Anyway for 10 bucks I'll carry it for now, but I wouldn't pay the $80 that it sells for on his website. Oh and had to swap out the zipper pulls for paracord just because they rattled constantly.[IMG]

Spyescapeandevasion.com I think is the website. The guy claims to be former CIA and was on the show Shark Tank to get funding for his classes. I don't know a whole lot more about it, though I somehow became signed up for his email list.
