EDC Water Bottle

I use a sportline waterbottle I got at wal-mart for 5 bucks. I liked it so much I bought another and my buddies at work had me pick up a couple for them. I've dropped it off a moving forktruck several times. the only thing I replaced was the carabiner for a more heavy duty one. when I run across more I'll buy them up. I like that it has a metal bottom and plastic you can see thru. I've never tried to boil water in one but I've seen les shroud boil in a cheap disposeable plastic bottle. tho I'm sure you'd have to be careful.

Here's my two mostly carried bottles, both Hydroflask, absolutely love them! The only problem I had with them was the larger one due to the larger mouth, and having to take a drink, if your not paying attention, you just might end wearing it! Another neat little trick I did is for the narrower mouth ones, if you are drinking a flavored drink, and if you use ice, by the time it melts your drink taste like crap? Get these, pour what ever your drinking in the night before, and toss them in the freezer, and they line up with each other to make a nice cylinder, plus what ever your drinking doesn't delut when they melt! Really like using the classic Kleen Kanteen 18 oz with the new stainless steel cap. It will hold right at 20 oz.

I used to use a 40oz Classic Kleen Kanteen with the sports cap at work but then they changed the rules so we have to have clear bottle so I now carry a 32oz Nalgene. I have it on the side of a Rush M.O.A.B 10 in a ITS Skeletonized holder.

I use several different bottles, but i borrowed an idea from a friend and tape a packet of water purification tablets and a single serving size of crystal light to each one. I make my own packets up using my vacuum sealer.

I really like my Nathan Bottle, Never leaks or spills.

I wouldn't use for Hot stuff but I don't drink much Hot Beverages.

Thanks. I like the finish on it. Some what textured and non reflective. Plus I like black, matches my M.O.A.B 10. I am, however more impressed with the insulation qualities. Monday night around 6PM I filled it with ice and water and today(Wednesday) at 1:45PM I opened it and it still has ice in it, it has been sitting next to a vent in my bedroom since Monday night. Very impressed.

Signed up mainly to post this question haha. I am planning on getting a Hydro flask and a M.O.A.B 10 but I can't decide on a size 18 oz or 40 oz any way you can post a pic of your bag with bottle how you carry it? Will really help me in deciding what to get.

The holder is an ITS Tactical Skeletonized holder, it holds it pretty securely and I have not had it slide out yet. It is a big bottle, but it is worth it for what it hold and keeps it cold for as long as it does.
