After a fresh oiling. Airman's Emergency Egress Knife. The saw on the back of the blade was designed to cut through sheet metal. Had it since my Civil Air Patrol cadet days. You can see by the patina on the sheath that we were out in the rain A LOT. This is the favorite knife in my collection.

Went to blade show.

Ran into a friend.

Bought one of his knives.

It's almost exactly what I've been looking for...it wears as well as my folts minimalist but allows for a full fighting grip and at least has a swedge. I might have him or another knife maker friend sharpen it at some point to make a double edge (it's too nice for me to do it myself). 1095 steel, hand made, cerakoted to keep the rust off, wears great iwb, just a no nonsense small fighting blade.

I think the company is named red meat steel.
