I’ve done a bad thing... I GORUCKED again.

Just bought a Goruck GR3. I was interested in seeing how it would work for me. I do have a GR2 but I don’t like the dual sets of zippers abd the extra weight of the two ‘flaps’.

Does anyone else have a GR3 yet?

For the record: I also have a Radio Ruck and a GR1 so the GR2 May be superfluous.

Okay, I’m packing for a trip to Cuba and I’m going to use the 3 for my carry-on, replacing the GR2. Ive already loaded it up and there’s still room for a lot more.

I’m taking two loaded suitcases for this 6 day trip but they and their contents are all on a one way trip, I’ll be leaving everything from blenders to shoes and towels with my Cuban friends.

Even though it’s already loaded I’m going to be able to put my GGG LAP into the GR3 as a day bag with lots of room left over.

I think my GR2 is going to go to the next owner on my return. Too bad, I love the steel-grey colour but it’s going to be superfluous with its big-bro in house.

Seems like every time I turn around there's a new bag out there tugging at the wallet. :p What is this GR3 you speak of? LOL

Enjoy the trip! Sounds like you have the GR bases covered dude!

p.s. -- Don't look now, but Goruck just released a bunch of bags in Multicam Black today.

The GR3 is 45 litres so almost the size of a Volkswagen.

I like the new black Multicam, I have a couple of bags in that pattern from TAD and Recycled Firefighter.

GR3 on a plane worked great. Overhead, under-seat both worked great, no issues whatsoever. Check-in staff didn’t balk or blink, just tagged it Cabina (Cubana airlines) both ways.

I even packed my GGG LAP as a daypack in the bag. All my luggage on my back as I breezed through customs on the way back.

I doubt I’ll use my GR2 again.

Sold the GR2 and bought a MR Sweet Pea. Same size and tri-zip as the 3DAP but much less cluttered and strappy. I had one of course, in orange but I sold it to get something else. Easy come, easy go...

@Heavyduti Kinda funny you mention Mystery Ranch -- I'm eyeballing the ASAP again. The practical side of me says go for foliage, good color for travel and EDC and hiking, but the tacticool part of me says Multicam. Decisions, decisions...

GOrucked again!

I’m up to four GR1s (Multicam, Wolf Grey, Black and Sand). Update July 20: Black is gone, too hard to see and find things.

And the GR3 (black, of course).

I’m the Goruck apocalypse guy, Goruck zombie. Somehow they just find me and I take them in.

Clearly it’s too late for me but save yourselves...

Two GR1s are history but I’ve added a Rucker in steel gray for those “light days” as those commercials used to say.

Sanity is returning! No it isn’t - who am I fooling...
