Making necessary repairs to the Ronson lighters. Luckily I have this handy dandy parts kit from 1952 that I found in Tunica. The owner of a jewelry store, that had a lighter I was purchasing, gave me the kit for $20. He said it was was in the store when he purchased the business decades ago.
This is the first Ronson I found and started the whole obsession with collecting them. It was marked $3.25 - Doesn't Work, at an antique store. I brought it home, spent an hour cleaning out the old disintegrated flint with a bent paperclip, added a flint and fluid and it was fixed.
